What: Supplies, materials, and in-person instruction to create a custom portrait of your pet on 100% cotton fabric in a 6" hoop.
Learn the basic embroidery stitches and techniques needed to create an intricate linework portrait of your best friend! Suitable for beginners and experienced embroiderers alike, embroidery is a lovely way to relax and create something beautiful with your hands.

No prior knowledge or skills are required, though some experience with fibers can be helpful.
A DIY embroidery kit including:
- A custom-designed pattern of your pet pre-printed on cotton fabric
- A high-quality 6" beechwood embroidery hoop
- Peacock embroidery scissors
- Two needles
- Cotton embroidery floss in your choice of black, brown, or dark gray
- A band-aid
- Digital PDFs of step-by-step instructions and a stitch style guide with graphics demonstrating basic stitches

Hannah will guide you in stitching a one-of-a-kind 6” linework / outline portrait of your beloved pet. Participants will each receive a kit including a custom pattern designed by Hannah and pre-printed on 100% cotton fabric, a high quality embroidery hoop, embroidery scissors, needles, and thread. You will learn basic embroidery stitches to get your project started, how to finish the hoop, as well as some of Hannah's favorite tips and techniques for linework embroidery. By the end of the class, your project will be well underway and you will have the confidence to finish it at home! You will also receive a digital pattern guide and stitch style library, and links to video tutorials should you need. A 25% discount on a single hardwood shadowbox frame is included, so that you can protect and display your masterpiece for generations to come.
